On March 14th at 9pm our very own Sarah Denning featured as one of the inspirational women on BBC3′s “How to Live with Women.” The programme told the story of Ricky, a lovable but lazy chap, with very old fashioned views on the role of women. Ricky turned to Sarah and her Knowledge Antenatal class to see how his views and demands might prove challenging as he embarks on becoming a parent. See first hand how Sarah’s kind and engaging nature pulls on Ricky’s heart strings and empowers him to make a few changes.

From January to mid-November 2010 we are proud to announce that so far this year 81% of our mothers have had a vaginal delivery, with 12% of these needing some help with forceps or ventouse.

Mamas and Papas Midwife of the Year, in association with Prima Baby and Pregnancy Magazine and Natwest is a chance to help mothers and expectant mothers celebrate and reward their midwife’s dedication and passion for midwifery.

Just launched: Private postnatal midwife home visits

You can now buy a package of visits from 5 to 10 one hour visits in advance or book single visits to suit your needs. You will be visited at home by one of our small team of qualified practising midwives, to give support, breastfeeding help, babycare advice etc. This is available for all women, regardless of whether you’ve had classes or birth care with us before. We cover Watford, St Albans, Radlett, Shenley, Edgware, Mill Hill, Barnet and surrounding areas. Supplementary to NHS midwifery care.
